This clock features a high quality german quartz movement and an easy-to-read wooden dial. On each hour the cuckoo emerges from a swinging door above the clock dial and sounds the appropriate number of times (Example: At one o'clock the bird will cuckoo once. At eight o'clock the bird will cuckoo eight times). After the Cuckoo is finished one of 12 different melodies is played:
