Heidelberg Palace is the world's most famous palace ruin. It would be hard to imagine a more striking location: set against the deep green forests on the north flank of Königstuhl hill, the red sandstone ruins tower majestically over the Neckar valley. From its lofty position, the palace’s silhouette dominates the old town centre of Heidelberg. Each year, Heidelberg Palace attracts around a million visitors from all over the world.
Wall tapestry is an ancient form of textile art, traditionally woven on a vertical loom. It is a special procedure which is like weaving and embroidery at the same time. Jacquard woven and fully lined with rod loops on top.
